1st XI Match Report vs Lindfield

Middleton’s winning streak came to an end on Saturday after being held to a dull draw at home to Lindfield. With the sun out and the wicket looking flat, Middleton won the toss and decided to bat, for the first time this season.

Towner Strikes Back

It was an uncomfortable night for the Baby Run Machine (BRM) on Friday, arriving back home at his Mum and Dads after a tiring week in London Ed was not greeted with the usual jolly welcome he’d come to expect, Brian was still fuming that Ed had got out first ball of the innings in the last game he played.

2nd XI Match Report vs Pagham

At first glance a sporting equivalent of this type of game most likely would have been a 0-0 draw going to extra time and still ending up finishing 0-0, assumptions would be that it was boring, this low scoring affair played out at the sports club on Saturday proved nothing of the sorts as the game ebbed and flowed offering both sides chances to win.

It was a busy weekend for Middleton CC as they traveled to Crowhurst Park on Saturday. While on Sunday a home crowd saw their side take on Hertfordshire’s Wheathampstead CC in the last 32 of the National Village Cup.
